The Catbell Pine, Lake District, Cumbria - 54°34'8.37" N 3°9'48.408" W
Cat Bells is a fell in the English Lake District in the county of Cumbria. It has a modest height of 451 metres (1,480 ft) but despite this it is one of the most popular fells in the area. It is situated on the western shore of Derwent Water within 3 miles (5 km) of the busy tourist town of Keswick.
We decided to take a drive out last Friday to get some air and to see the outside world as is often the case when you spend most of your time working from home. We were driving down past Derwent Water on the east side of Cat Bell when I see a nice pine tree pointing straight up from the angle of the fell side. I took a few images and decided this was the best of the bunch. I took a couple of Portrait profiles and may add one of these at a later date. I hope you like it
